Our Grade 5's visited Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park yesterday. School trips are invaluable life experiences and cannot be underestimated. They build social skills. Children get to interact with their classmates, teachers and excursion representatives. They learn how to socialise and behave out of the school environment. They provide exposure. Children get to visit places where they have never been before. The photos speak 1000 words. They just loved the experience. Thanks to all !
Grade RR and R learners started the new term with so much excitement despite the chill in the air as winter approaches. It was heartwarming to see the many smiles between teachers and learners on day one of Term 2.
Our RR's made The Senses " body suits" from Checkers bags and other recycled materials. They enjoyed walking around the school showing off their recycled armour. Staff and learners was so happy to see them.
Grade RR and a discovery of Life Cycles in the Garden.
Using the story teaching resource, The Hungry Caterpillar - our little learners made the discovery of what happens when a caterpillar spins itself closed in a cocoon and emerges after a short sleep. Yes, a beautiful butterfly!
We have such a fantastic team, incredible children and supportive parents at CityKidz. Our brilliant 2022 Sports Day gives you a glimpse of what of life is like at CityKidz.
Valentine's Day ( and every other day) is the perfect time to teach the importance of kindness, tolerance, empathy and understanding. Teaching our children that even the smallest acts of generosity can have a huge impact on the giver and the also on the recipient.
The Grade 7 team and 2021 Grade 7 learners would like to thank Mrs Reynolds for a lovely farewell. We are also thrilled to receive our stunning t-shirts, Siyamthanda Ncube won the winning concept for the t-shirts. Our learners looked super smart. What a memorable day! This was enjoyed by everyone!
Wow! The Forever Fairest Tea party was a great success. We were blessed by beautiful weather, great attendance by our parents and a fabulous atmosphere.
We are very happy to see our children arrive at school today. For our new learners - you are ready to take this first little step. Your journey just begins. Wishing you a very fun and fantastic day!
It was truly wonderful to see each bundle of cloth walk towards the stage with a smile in their eyes. Each child gently took their certificates from their homeroom teacher and stood in their little allocated spots on stage.
