Dis-Chem Prizegiving

A special Thanks to the Dis-Chem FOUNDATION for sponsoring this wonderful  initiative and to Perle and Peter from Imfundo Likusasalethu. 

We have had a good year of hard work in our English support classes. We focused on improving reading, vocabulary, spelling and grammar. There has been a good improvement all round and I am very proud of the effort the children have put in, as well as the support at home from some of the parents. Please continue to assist your child with their homework and spelling words and most importantly, let them READ to you. They can read books, magazines, newspapers and advertisements. Practice makes perfect!!

We also had great fun doing Grade 6 Mathematics, doing a variety of exercises, learning tricks and using stories to help us remember the rules. Times-tables are the keys and the basis of mathematics. Practice these with your child and you will see the improvement!
