eTV donates books published by Jacana to CityKidz

On the 7th of November 2013, one of the first Khanyisa book packs was handed over to CityKidz Pre and Primary School in Johannesburg.

The Khanyisa junior school library pack donated to CityKidz consists of a range of beautiful children’s picture book and library resources in a range of local languages.

Jacana Media Sales Manager Shay Heydenrych said, "Access to books and reading is an invaluable foundation for growing children’s imaginations and interest and excitement in the world around them. Ensuring that books are placed in under-resourced schools is one of the basic ways in which to grow a culture and love of reading for both the learners and their educators."
