Grade R Graduation 2014

22 November 2014

The Grade R Graduation/ Prize Giving was held on Tuesday 18th. It was a special day and we had many proud moms, dads, teachers and friends!

The learners were very excited to wear their graduation attire and the little graduates gave such an outstanding performance that it left many parents teary-eyed. An event like this takes days of planning, preparing and organizing and these achievements would not have been possible had it not been for the tireless contribution from special people and the overwhelming support from the Principal, teachers and parents.

It is encouraging to note the role parents and educators have played in building a strong foundation for all children throughout the year. I would like to acknowledge the following people who contributed to the planning and staging of this successful event, Ms Natalie Parker for helping to dress my children into their gowns and caps and assisting them throughout the day. Mrs Cindy Moyo for teaching the children the funky Grand March,  Ms T Dube for the fabulous song presentation, Mrs P Ndlovu for the prayer, Mrs. S. Dube our master of ceremonies, Mr Nkomo for the recording, Mr. Quarcoo for the sound system and our parents for providing the tasty eats for the children.  A special thanks to our Principal Ms S Reynolds, for the heart-warming PowerPoint presentation and for keeping it all together on the day to arrive at the outcome we so dearly cherished.
We feel a keen sense of pride to have graduated our little Gummi Bears from CityKidz Pre & Primary School in 2014 and we look forward with enthusiasm to our next cohort of graduates.
I wish you all a well-deserved peaceful festive season.
