Sick Room
Children complaining of ill health are sent to the Office where a decision is made as to what action is taken (period in Sick Room or contact with parent).
The Sick Room is available for use at all times and is a facility where we are able to monitor learners who feel unwell.
Generally, children will not be sent to stay at the Sick Room (apart from a short rest period) unless we are unable to contact his/her parent. Our priority when children are injured or ill is to contact a parent or nominated caregiver immediately.
A comprehensive supply of basic First Aid resources is stored in the Sick Room and the secretaries' office.
