Grade 1 trip to Buksies Resort was an absolute blast! From the very beginning, the day was packed with excitement, starting with a warm welcome from the friendly guards.
Children were greeted with bright smiles and the team made them feel special right away, setting the tone for a day of fun. Children could not wait to challenge themselves on amazing pools and jungle gyms. Engaging children in physical activities offers far more than just fun, it plays a vital role in their overall growth and development. The animal show was one of the highlights! From the moment the animals took to stage, the atmosphere was buzzing with joy as children cheered, clapped and marvelled at each incredible performance.
One of the most loved moments was the appearance of a talented dancing dog! As soon as the music began to play, the energetic dog sprang into action, prancing on two legs and twirling gracefully in perfect rhythm. Children were absolutely enchanted by the dog’s playful moves, giggling as it faithfully followed the beat with its wagging tail. They also interacted with baby fox and the clever monkey. The train ride was a thrilling journey children will never forget. The adventure began as the train chugged into the Mighty Jungle and children imagined lions prowling through the trees and playful monkeys swinging from branches. T
he next stop was the farm, where they got to experience simple joys of farm life. They were delighted to see goats and sheep. Just when everyone thought the adventure was winding down, the train took an unexpected turn into the Ghost House. As the train creaked to a stop, children were greeted by cobwebs and rattling skeletons, setting the perfect spooky mood. They screamed as they spotted skeletons dancing in the corners. The eerie fun was just enough to give everyone a little thrill, getting them excited for Halloween!
Ending the day with water slides and party packs was a perfect way to wrap up such an eventful trip. Each child was handed a party pack filled with goodies. The surprises did not stop there, everyone was treated to a delicious ice cream. The cool, creamy treat brought smiles to their faces and also gave them a little energy boost to keep them awake and happily chatting on the way back home.
