When Sundowns emailed my Mom and said there were trials, l made sure that l was ready and trained a lot until the final day.
I was so excited and was asked by the coach “How old l was? “
l said, I am 12 years old and he told me that if l impress him l’ll go to the academy to train in Pretoria. So l trained and passed. They then said when and where the training sessions will be.
So l improved day after day and went for a match in Pretoria. Then we were all happy when we won ; 3-2.
When the manager of Sundowns was watching me in training and he saw me play , he was impressed by my performance.
He then said he wants me to play for Sundowns Academy.
He then said l must come watch the Sundowns Academy play in a tournament, because l was going to train with them every Sunday.
This blew my mind, l was very happy and my parents were so proud!
