CityKidz wins its first Inter School's Athletics !!

CityKidz had the exciting opportunity to participate for the first time in an Inter School Athletics meeting on Thursday, 19 February.

The meeting was held at St Declan's where seven schools participated in perfect weather conditions. St Declan's, Grace Trinity, Harvest Christian College, Covenant College, Our Lady of Lebanon, and Mulbarton Remedial.

HIP ,HIP, HOORAY!!

Our team finished  FIRST PLACE with a score of 286 points. 

Our children were simply marvellous. We were fortunate to come home with many medals. Individual medals were won by

• Simakele Feleti
• Sharifa Mogano
• Lebogang Ntuli
• Nicole Masuku
• Zethu Mhkize.

We won all the relay races except for one!  Harvest Christian College came second on 274 points and third place was St Declan's and Grace Trinity on 214 points. Congratulations to the coaches and athletes for making it a memorable day. On behalf of CityKidz I would like to thank Michael Pinheiro from St Declan’s for organising the fantastic event. Our athletes made us proud through their efforts and behaviour.  Many of our winners will be selected to represent the smaller private schools at Districts which will be held at Germiston Stadium on Wednesday 25th February. This is a huge honour! We are rooting for you guys and girls!
