Grade 5 Trip to GoApe

The Grade 5's had a super adventurous time at Go Ape

At last, the long wait was over! Learners and teachers boarded the bus.  We waved goodbye to the Principal. On the free-way, learners spontaneously burst into song. They gave a beautiful rendition of our school song.  By looking at their faces and the sound of their voices, it was clear that they are so very proud of their school.

At the arrival, learners were divided into five groups, and then the fun began.   They were taught about safety rules and regulations and geared up with harnesses. The challenges seemed rather daunting.  Many let go of their fears, cheered and motivated friends, as they swung in the trees from station to station among the trees. A 100m zip line was also part of the adventure. And the food…Yummy, fresh-made boerewors rolls and a soft drink were provided exactly when it was needed!
