Education promotes equality and lifts people out of poverty. It teaches children how to become good citizens. Education is not just for a privileged few, it is for everyone. It is a fundamental human right. Ban Ki-moon

Appreciation is the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something. Appreciation can also mean a rise in value and acknowledgement of the benefit that one has received.

We need to have or develop a sense of appreciation. The images show our children helping those in need and children reciprocating by showing appreciation. We also need to appreciate the fact that people make mistakes and forgive those who do wrong things to us when they say "sorry".

At CityKidz we encourage our learners to show appreciation both at school and at home by promoting good values. We teach our learners not to take things for granted. When someone offers help ,be it parents, teachers or fellow students- show appreciation by being thankful. Appreciation is not measured by the deed done. Any form of kindness should be reciprocated by appreciation.
