Holi Day

Love is in the air at CityKidz. In keeping with the spirit of love, CityKidz had its very own Holi colour festival ( Holī- is a Hindu spring festival of sharing love) at school on the 10th of February to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Holi is a cultural and traditional festival which is celebrated with lots of joy, and at CityKidz we did not disappoint. Fun, frolic and boisterousness was experienced by staff and learners alike. There's nothing silly about bringing people together, having fun and learning about different cultures. It was a great festival of colour at CityKidz!

Sports Day 2017

Today was a full day of competitive sport! How lucky we were with the weather too!

Great team work, determination and resilience were shown throughout as children took part in numerous track events and the novelty races and of course, the sprinting team relays.

Topic: Young inexperienced drivers are a major cause of road accidents.

Debating is the most convincing avenue to follow in order to develop one's intellectual capacity. Our learners enjoyed this, it was an exciting moment when the two teams locked-horns to fight a good fight in a debate. Charity Marape had this to say:

"I really enjoyed the debate, I wish we could do it everyday. It helps us with public speaking, thanks to our teachers for this time".
