Grade RR and R learners started the new term with so much excitement despite the chill in the air as winter approaches. It was heartwarming to see the many smiles between teachers and learners on day one of Term 2.
Our RR's made The Senses " body suits" from Checkers bags and other recycled materials. They enjoyed walking around the school showing off their recycled armour. Staff and learners was so happy to see them.

Using the story teaching resource, The Hungry Caterpillar - our little learners made the discovery of what happens when a caterpillar spins itself closed in a cocoon and emerges after a short sleep. Yes, a beautiful butterfly!

Valentine's Day ( and every other day) is the perfect time to teach the importance of kindness, tolerance, empathy and understanding. Teaching our children that even the smallest acts of generosity can have a huge impact on the giver and the also on the recipient.
The Grade 7 team and 2021 Grade 7 learners would like to thank Mrs Reynolds for a lovely farewell. We are also thrilled to receive our stunning t-shirts, Siyamthanda Ncube won the winning concept for the t-shirts. Our learners looked super smart. What a memorable day! This was enjoyed by everyone!
Wow! The Forever Fairest Tea party was a great success. We were blessed by beautiful weather, great attendance by our parents and a fabulous atmosphere.

It was truly wonderful to see each bundle of cloth walk towards the stage with a smile in their eyes. Each child gently took their certificates from their homeroom teacher and stood in their little allocated spots on stage.
The Grade 3s, class of 2021 decided to end the year in style. They took on the perfect project of paper weaving, to show case their growing talents in Arts and Crafts. After learning how paper is processed from trees, it was an awesome experience to discover how they can use paper in many creative ways.
