Something fishy is going on in the Grade 4 classes! In Creative Arts the Grade 4's made 3D fish. Teacher Irene and Teacher Amanda captured the learners' attention hook, line and sinker!
The Solar System is a vast and interesting part of our universe. In our galaxy, the Milky Way, we find a unique constellation of stars and very strange and exciting planets. Our Grade 3s started the journey of exploring space in a spectacular way! The virtual planetarium stimulated our interest and left us yearning to learn more!
The Intersen Phase children were keen to show off their singing and dancing skills during the PJ and pancake Day.
After much anticipation our Grade 7 leadership team was announced this afternoon.
On Thursday 17 June 2021, Grade 2s went on a day trip to the Crocodile and Reptile Park in Chartwell.
Waking up bright and early on a Tuesday morning, the Grade 6 learners eagerly climbed up on the bus. Their eyes were bright and their faces had the most beautiful smiles. There would be no writing and school today, would only be fun!
If you went down to CityKidz on Tuesday, you would have been in for a "beary" big surprise! For every Teddy Bear that ever there was, was gathered with our little Grade RR and R learners on the grass for a picnic!
The Virtual Planetarium was a resounding success. The children were transported across the solar system in an unforgettable journey.
You could not contain the excitement of the Grade 7’s a few days before leaving for Konka. In the beginning they were so apprehensive after listening to our President’s family meeting on Sunday night because they thought the trip would be postponed, once again. On Tuesday when they were told “all systems go!” They were briefed about their responsibilities on the trip. The Covid-19 protocols certainly did not dampen their spirits.
Thanks to all the staff accompanying the Grade 7’s. Wonderful memories were made!
