Learning to tell time can be difficult but Mrs Strydom’s class made clocks to help make it easier to grasp. This was a fun way to teach time by making the concept enjoyable and they practiced telling the time by reading a traditional (analog) clock-face.
Jabatha Paper and Stationery came to the school during the holidays and re-painted our traffic track and a hopscotch area.
These learners received the most mertis for Term 2.
Congratulations to all our little ambassadors.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” That’s a common question all children seem to hear.
The Grade Rb learners are curious and inquisitive.
They love and enjoy learning through play,
singing, rhyming, and making up their own words.
They are also able to count up to 20 and back, they can even count up to a 100.
They know their shapes and love bright colours.
Welcome back Little Bambino’s , Moms, and Dads.
Term 2 ended on a high note. We took part in the School Sleepout and having a Pajamas and Slippers day for the whole school.
The grade 3C class enjoyed learning all about fruits and how they helped our bodies fight infections. We made a delicious salad with creamy yogurt.
We felt stronger, healthier and happier after our nutritious salad.
It was 'all smiles' when SpecSavers prescribed spectacles for our learners. Some of our learners had challengers reading from the board, even at a close range. When Spec-Savers came to our school, we knew that help had come.
Our learners had this to say to Spec-Savers;
'' This is the best gift of a life time, thank you Spec-Savers''
As teachers, we salute Spec-Savers.
