Spring fun in the Funky Factory!
The Grade 2's made 3D models of road signs.
Today learners and staff put their best Wacky foot forward for our first Wacky Wednesday. Smiles, giggles and good humour have been the order of the day.
CityKidz children and staff had such fun with the mini-Olympics.
The founder of the Modern Olympics, Pierre de Coubertin said that the most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.
Term 2 started with great excitement as CityKidz commissioned the Funky Factory into action.
Grade 7's , staff and "support" children helped spruce up our Funky Factory.
Our learners took part in a Yoga class held by Dale de Klerk.
Most of our Grade 7 learners arrived at school today (33 out of 49). Our staff was ready to receive and screen them.
