The Department of Education embarked on an art competition for the Foundation Phase. All D11 cluster schools were invited to enter the Art Competition. 19 Schools participated in our cluster. The purpose was to generate an interest in art and to highlight the talents of our children. We entered several of our learners in the D11 Cluster Art Competition
From the clusters the winners will move onto District level (this incudes all clusters in Gauteng) then from District level to Provincial level. Each Grade were given a theme.
- Grade 1– My Family.
- Grade 2 –Animals
- Grade 3- Space.
Congratulations to one and all who entered. We are delighted to announce that Martin Makgopa 2B was the overall winner of the Grade 2’s and Naledi Mathebula the overall winner of the Grade 3’s for our D11 cluster. Their artwork will be displayed at District Level for the next phase of the competition.
