Although some may regard art education as a luxury, simple creative activities are some of the building blocks of child development. Learning to create and appreciate visual aesthetics may be more important than ever to the development of the next generation of children as they grow up.

After much trepidation as to whether the sports day would take place we decided to place trust in the weather man's report and start the day earlier.
As luck would have it the rains disappeared and the day started on time and there were moments when the sun forced it's way through the clouds. Unfortunately many athletes did not arrive but we continued with the program. It's a pity they didn't brave the weather.
