Back to School: A year to learn, explore and wonder!

The first day of school in a new year and a new class can be quite exciting… but it’s usually quite daunting too for most (including the teachers!). Everyone wants to know whose class they’re in, which class their friends are in, if their teacher is fun and especially what’s in their lunchbox!

A new year is always filled with new fears, but it can also be jam-packed with new and exciting adventures. After a month-long vacation, suddenly the first day of school had crept up on us. This meant that the last month spent relaxing with no homework, no studying and no school uniform was finally over for the learners, and the 2023 school year had begun! The first day of school brought with it lots of tears; sad when saying goodbye to mom and dad and happy tears from parents beaming with pride of their brave little babies. Plenty of hugs went around when seeing old friends and kodak-ready smiles while passing previous teachers around the school. It was an emotional day for one and all. By the end of the day everyone was more settled and ready to take on the year ahead.

We were so grateful to have a bright and sunny day as rainy weather would’ve dampened the mood! We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new parents who have joined our CityKidz family and wish one and all an exciting and fruitful year ahead. 2023, we are ready for you! Let the magic begin!
