Grade 3 trip to the Lion and Safari Park

On Tuesday the 26th of April, our Grade 3s had a trip to the Lion and Safari Park. It was a long awaited trip and our learners were very excited.

On arrival they had their snacks and it was off to the game drive. The children’s faces lit up as they saw real lions and lionesses up close. For some it was a first time experience. The white lion was the star of the show as the learners gazed at its rare beauty. The Lion and Safari Park has a variety of wildlife which include cheetahs, wild dogs, wildebeest, ostriches and warthogs to name a few. Our learners even got an opportunity to feed a giraffe!

The experience was amazing and unforgettable. I am sure our parents’ ears were buzzing with exciting news from our learners. It was truly a day well spent.
