Grade 7 Leadership Camp at Happy Acres

CityKidz Grade 7’s experienced a sun filled day of trials and physical exertion at Happy Acres in the Magaliesburg on Wednesday. After a discussion on the qualities of what makes a leader they participated in outdoor obstacle courses and discovered their own natural abilities as leaders as well as the importance of supporting one another under trying circumstances. Our children’s behaviour was exemplary even as they overcame heat and thirst and rose to the challenges that lay ahead. We feel certain that the events of the day will help lay the foundation for their future lives. After all, today’s children are the future leaders of tomorrow. This week in preparation for Leadership Camp the Grade 7’s delivered speeches on a leader that inspired them.
