Interhouse Sports Day 2016

Once again we had a successful Interhouse Sports Day. The children were all ferried to the venue at the Johannesburg Cricket Club in busses kindly sponsored by Kenny from Sun Malto Tours. The weather was perfect and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout from the very first race, through the novelty group activities, the parent’s races and finally to the relay races. Thank you so much to all of you who came, it was also lovely to have so many parents joining us too. Mom’s and Dad’s races were incredibly exciting (with a few runners taking a tumble). Some Dads had clearly been “working out” and were proud to flex their muscles in the bid to score house points for their children.

Eland House were crowned the Interhouse Champions for the second year in a row.Impala came 2nd and Roan 3rd. Congratulations to all our athletes who demonstrated fair play, support for team mates and positivity. Well done, to all our children, who all did their very best!

The theme for this year" We’re on the same team" was evident and everyone did their bit to ensure the day was such a great success. I would like to thank all of our teachers who helped at the event. A special thanks to Mr Mlotshwa , Mr Dube, Mr Quarcoo and Mrs Abdulla - your help was greatly appreciated
