Welcome to the new school year! I hope everyone had a very good festive season , and that you are all ready for a wonderful start to the first term of 2016.
It's also an exciting week for our Grade RR, R and Grade 1 teachers who have a new batch of children to shape and mould into productive, happy and caring citizens. Our theme for the year is : "We're On the Same Team.” We all like to win and achieve great things therefore teamwork is crucial for our school’s success. We are all on the same team, and any team works better together if they are united. If we have the same goals; if we stick together, stay focused and work hard, we can achieve the quality outcomes that we desire.
Ultimately we want the best possible education for our learners. We also have to try to create the sense that there is no such thing as failure; that you can learn from mistakes, takes risks and have a 'no blame' culture. It's about avoiding the negatives and promoting the positives. We always need to remember that extraordinary things happen when people are smiling and laughing.
By working together and communicating with each other we can help to make our school go from strength-to- strength and become a winning school in every way.
