Last Friday our adventurous Grade 5 learners went on a terrific trip to Croc City. This lovely outing was the perfect blend of fun, adventure and learning. Educational sessions from knowledgeable guides gave interesting facts about the habitat, behaviour and the unique adaptations of crocs while our learners viewed them safely from very close quarters.

Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! The grand event of the year has arrived, and it was no ordinary prize-giving ceremony. It was full of laughter, awe-inspiring performances and of course, the recognition of our exceptional students.
As the school year draws to a close, the excitement is tangible in the air as the Grade 2 and 3 learners eagerly anticipate the prize-giving ceremony. This event not only recognizes their academic accomplishments but also celebrates the remarkable journey these young learners have undertaken since they first stepped into the world of formal education in Grade R, where the first brick was laid on a strong foundation. For these learners, the prize-giving marks an important milestone in their academic and personal development.
The circus theme set the tone for an auspicious day that combined creativity and the spirit of achievement. In CityKidz tradition, each learner was honoured for their unique talents and accomplishments throughout the 2023 academic year.
The sun shone brightly on the astro turf of the school playground as the Grade RR learners gathered excitedly, clutching their beloved teddy bears tightly in their arms.
